Alternatively I can go in close, which may result in HMG retreating, but might as well result in my 4-man squads bleeding to death, since they have literally nothing to use on close range and their DPS drops significantly on the move. Either I stay behind cover and keep shooting which inevitably results in my Grens getting pinned or being forced to disengage when HMG adjusts angle. But if the enemy has either Maxim or Vickers I am faced with two choices. USF is manageable since they lack the HMG at the start (and early emplacements are not exactly a substitute). For the first few minutes (time frame before I reach T2 and spawn first LV) they are supposed to be your main fighting force but since they work exclusively on long range and while standing, it is virtually impossible for me to dislodge enemy if they managed to get into position ahead of me with as little as a single HMG. I have trouble on larger game modes (3v3, 4v4) with Ostheer Grenadiers.
